Mini Sweet Italian Sausage Sandwich with Bacon, Onions and Peppers

The french bread is from a Pillsbury can. The sausage is cooked by searing the skin and then baking on a grill rack in the oven. Green peppers and onions are sauteed until limp (sautee the onions first if going for caramelization). Spread some pasta sauce on that mofo.
